“Fashions fade, style is eternal.” – Yves Saint Laurent
Oh my, I feel a new obsession coming on.
I just finished watching the documentary – ‘L’Amour Fou‘, directed by Pierre Thoretton. I always knew Yves Saint Laurent was iconic in the history of fashion but this beautifully made french film has left me yearning to know more about this man.
Shown through reflections of his longtime partner Pierre Bergé, the film takes you through stills and video footage of YSL that is delicately woven to show his career, residences, friends – an intimate look at this private man’s life.
This film L’Amour Fou – is a must-see for any fashion lover.
