What a cool little shop this place is. Rudy’s has a look of retro vintage with an old-fashioned men’s  barber shop…..just peering through the windows felt like stepping back in time.

Starting in the early 1990’s in Seattle in the birth of the grunge era, this humble barber shop in Capitol Hill was formed by a few friends initially as a barbershop for both men & women and as a community-based place where people could come to hang out. It now boasts 14 locations throughout Seattle, Portland & LA with a store being built in NY.

This little find is in the trendy hood of Ballard, Seattle…and I peered through its windows whilst waiting for a bus one evening….loving the walls of magazine collages & retro furniture feel…I must go back for a chop!
